Directions to Art on the Avenue

By Metro: Your best bet to the festival! |
|
Braddock Road is the Metro stop nearest Art on
the Avenue. Each half
hour, starting at 10:00 am until 6:00 pm, there will be
two trolleys going to and from the corner of
Bellefonte/Mt. Vernon Avenue and the Braddock Road Metro
Station. If
you prefer, the Festival is a 15 minute walk from the
Metro stop. Simply exit the station and turn right
to Braddock Road. Follow Braddock Road under the
underpass to the next light and turn right onto Mt.
Vernon Avenue. |

From South of Alexandria, VA on
395:
|
|
Take the “Route 1 North” exit and go north on Route
1. Turn left onto Monroe Avenue immediately after
crossing the Monroe Avenue Bridge/Overpass. Take a
right at the next traffic light onto Mt. Vernon Avenue.
The Festival begins at Bellefonte Avenue. Street
parking is plentiful to both the right and left. |

From North of Alexandria, VA:
|
|
Take Route 1 South through Crystal City. Turn right
on East Glebe Road. Go 1 mile and turn left onto Mt.
Vernon Avenue at traffic light. Go 1 mile to Hume which is the northern boundary of the festival.
Street parking is plentiful to both the right and left. |
