Exhibitor Information - Children's
Activities |
|
|
We want
non-profits to be able to participate in Art on the Avenue
and we have a very unique method to make that happen – by
providing an interactive children’s activity. There will
be no cost to the non-profit for the booth. Since we have
a limited number of spaces for non-profits, and we would
like to provide a variety of children’s activities for
visitors, this year we are providing a list of
activities from which your agency can choose:
|

Fees |
 |
We do not expect non-profits to pay a fee to participate
in the festival. The AOA fundraising team will be
soliciting sponsors. If they are successful, a sign with
the business sponsor’s name may need to be posted in your
area – this sign can be displayed along with your signs,
brochures, etc. |
 |
Art on the Avenue will provide supplies for the designated
activities. If you run out of supplies early, you
will need to close down your activity. We will do
our best to estimate approximate supplies for a full day
of activities. |
|
|
|
|
Booth and Equipment |
 |
Booth size is 10 feet by 10 feet and cannot extend more
than 10 feet (from the curb to street). |
 |
Tables and Chairs: we will provide the appropriate
number of tables for each activity. Please let us
know how many chair you will need. They will be
dropped off by the rental company at your booth location
by 8 a.m. the day of the festival. Please ensure the
same number of tables and chairs are left for pick-up at
the end of the day. We ask that you fold up all the
tables and chair and lay them on the sidewalk next to the
curb. |
 |
Each non-profit is responsible for keeping its area
presentable and clean.
|
 |
Break Down: All vendors must be clear of the Avenue by
7:00 p.m. The street will reopen at 7:30 p.m. Event
coordinators will be on hand throughout the day to assist
you with any problems, including distributing trash bags
should you need them.
|
|
|
|
|
Parking |
 |
One Non-Profit Parking Pass will be issued, identifying
your vehicle as an AOA participant. This does not give you
special parking to any area, but does let the police know
you are a festival participant. If additional parking
passes are needed, please indicate that on your
application. Please adhere to the posted “No Parking”
signs, and be considerate of Del Ray residents – please
don’t block driveways or alleys.

displayed at your booth. Please refrain from walking
up and down the avenue distributing literature. Only
25% of the booth space can be allotted to literature. |
 |
The chair of the Children’s Activities will contact you to
confirm participation in the festival, and to give space
assignments. |
 |

Bellefonte Avenues, will be closed to traffic from 7:00
a.m. until 7:30 p.m. Side streets immediately off Mt.
Vernon Avenue affecting these blocks will also be closed
for the duration of the event. |

Any lost children should be reported immediately to the
