Fine Artists, Artisans, Craftspeople - Showcase your work at Art on the Avenue
Artists, artisans and craftspeople are invited to apply to sell their handmade items, such as pottery, baskets, stained glass, jewelry, furniture, paintings and hand-woven clothing. We strive to reflect the vibrant mix of our community by showcasing local artists and their work.
Up to 40,000 visitors stroll down Mt. Vernon Avenue purchasing arts and crafts from the more than 300 artisans who take part. 2010 is our 15th year and exhibit space is limited - submit your application now for early consideration.
PLEASE NOTE: All street spaces are currently full, but we still have space for artists in the field at a cost of $100.

Location
Mt. Vernon Avenue, between Bellefonte Avenue & Hume Avenue. Crafters will also be located on the Mt. Vernon Recreation Center field.

To Apply
Submit a completed Art on the Avenue Craft Vendor Application.
Include a check for booth space, payable to "Art on the Avenue".
All applications must include 3 photographs in order to be juried and possibly accepted into the festival.

- Craft vendors are accepted and space guaranteed on a first come, first served basis.
- Art Space size is 10 feet by 10 feet.
- Festival is held rain or shine.
- Space assignments will be e-mailed to participating vendors.
- There is no vendor check-in again this year.
- Each craft vendor is personally responsible for the collection and reporting of VA Sales Tax (5%). Call the Virginia Department of Taxation at (804) 367-8031.
