October 4th marks the 13th year of Art on the Avenue. Thanks to your generous support, the festival has grown bigger and better every year! We started out small with a few vendors and about 300 visitors. Now we have more than 300 artisans from all over and more than 40,000 visitors coming to Mount Vernon Avenue! We could not have done this without the support of businesses such as yours or without the support of the Del Ray community.
Many thanks for your past generosity – we hope we can count on you again this year! In addition to providing a safe, family friendly environment for a day of fun, we provide musical entertainment for free and give children the opportunity to paint faces, make scarecrows and be creative in many different ways.
Please fill out the 2008 sponsorship form and return it with your check. All funds raised go directly to event production expenses, including security, signs, advertising, and other essential elements.

The following sponsorships are available:
Day of the Event
$1800 - The Gold Ring
Exclusive sponsorship of the main stage. Hang your banner over the center of the action where it will be seen all day and receive a full page ad in the program.
$1500 - The Home Grown
Exclusive sponsorship of the Americana Stage. Hang your banner over the community’s favorite stage and be part of local bands and receive a full page ad in the program.
$1400 - The Kids Best in Show
Exclusive sponsorship of the children’s stage with your banner hanging for all to see and receive a full page ad in the program.
$1200 - On the Porch
Exclusive sponsorship with your banner displayed on the Acoustic Stage located on the Porch of the Anne Welsh Salon along with a full page ad in the program.
$1200 Chef’s Best
Exclusive sponsorship of the community’s favorite Pie Baking Contest—best pie prize named in your honor and your banner to hang on the Pie Baking Contest tent for the day.
$475 - Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
Sponsor your favorite band or performer and receive sign recognition all day along with a business card ad in the program.
$250 - It’s a Small World
Exclusive sponsorship and sign recognition at one of the very popular children’s activity and receive your name listed in the program.
$85 -The Safety Brigade
Sponsorship of a barricade to include a sign prominently displayed on one of the barricades located on Mt. Vernon Avenue (Gotta’ block off the streets somehow!)
$85 - The Waste Eliminators
Sponsorship of a port-a-potty. Sign with your name strategically located. Believe it or not – one of the favorites of not only our sponsors but our participants!!
Printed Program
There will be 5,000 copies of the programs printed and distributed to participants and to potential new customers to Del Ray. If you’d like to advertise in our program, the rates are:
- full page ads for $450
- half page ads for $275
- business card size ads for $150 each
